Think of echo as a YMCA for entrepreneurs: a community hub that's open year-round and built around the belief that entrepreneurs build entrepreneurs. You can start with free Community access or join as a Core or Plus member for deeper, more structured support. However you come in, you're welcome here.
echo is built for entrepreneurs at every stage — from people exploring a first idea to founders growing an established business. We're not a coworking space. We're a community center designed for building, not just working. Support first, space second. If you want accountability, practical guidance, and a community that gets what it takes to build, you're in the right place.
Core is $85/month. It includes Peer Pods, EBE Huddles, the Learning Library, the Member Directory, and priority access to echo programs. It's a strong fit for entrepreneurs who want structure, consistent connection, and regular opportunities to learn and problem-solve alongside peers.
Plus is $155/month. It includes everything in Core, plus two 60-minute EBE Boost advisory sessions each month with vetted experts, added visibility through business spotlights and podcast features, and priority space booking. It's best for entrepreneurs who want more tailored support and direct access to expertise.
These are the core of echo's community — and they're largely member-led, member-designed, and member-requested. Peer Pods are small-group sessions built for accountability, feedback, and collaborative problem-solving. EBE Huddles are open, recurring sessions where members bring real challenges and work through them together. EBE Boost gives Plus members one-on-one time with vetted experts on topics like marketing, pricing, legal, operations, and hiring.
Yes. Come hang out for the day with a $45 Day Pass: drop into Million Cups, stay for a Peer Pod, and get a real feel for what echo is. If you join within 7 days, that $45 is credited toward your first month. You can also attend select programs à la carte without a membership.
Absolutely. Community is free and gives you a way to get connected, explore resources, and get to know echo. When you're ready for deeper support, you can upgrade to Core or Plus anytime.
No. echo serves entrepreneurs across Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, and the broader Triangle. Most offerings happen in person at our space at 112 Broadway St., Suite B in Durham — and you're always welcome to just come in.
Tailored learning and programming at echo are year-round through structured, recurring offerings. Unstuck Workshops are monthly. Incubators run three terms per year. On Deck and Pitch & Prosper happen quarterly. Once you join, we'll help you find the best place to start.
You'll get next steps for getting started, upcoming opportunities to plug in, and guidance on which programs fit your stage and goals. We want you connected and in motion quickly — not sitting on a membership you're not using.
Yes. Membership is month-to-month. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
