“My work is about helping people build resilience, navigate challenges, and thrive. When individuals, families, and professionals are supported with the right tools and resources, they can overcome barriers and create healthier, more connected communities”.
~ Dr. Glenda Clare

Rooted in Purpose:
When Dr Glenda Clare looked at the mental health professionals serving communities across North Carolina, she saw dedicated individuals facing constant burnout and limited support. She witnessed grandfamilies and kinship caregivers navigating complex systems with few coordinated resources to guide them. Having worked as a consultant, trainer, and behavioral health professional since 2004, Glenda recognized a critical opportunity to create comprehensive solutions that strengthen both the helpers and those they serve.
What is Resilience Ready 360?:
Based in Durham, NC, Dr Glenda has built 3 interconnected ventures dedicated to building resilience and strengthening systems of care. Through Resilience Ready Counseling and Resilience Ready 360, she provides counseling services, training, and wellness solutions for mental health professionals, organizations, and their clients. The Grandfamily Network strengthens the entire ecosystem by empowering professionals and caregivers with practical training, resources, and community support to better serve those who need it most.
Her mission is to address two critical gaps: the growing challenge of burnout and stress among mental health professionals, and the lack of coordinated resources for families and caregivers navigating complex systems of care. Resilience Ready 360 equips clinicians with wellness solutions and tools to sustain their well-being and performance.
Change that led to growth:
The behavioral health industry is ever evolving; as a result, Dr. Glenda ventured beyond just consulting and training into entrepreneurship. She transitioned into building startups, which demanded her to learn new skills, figure out funding opportunities, and develop a vision that resonated with her diverse client base. Each challenge deepened her commitment to systemic change.
Glenda benefited from echo:
When asked about echo’s impact, Dr. Glenda speaks with genuine appreciation about the community of entrepreneurial support that echo is building. She shares that the echo community provided opportunities to learn, connect, and grow through practical support that directly advanced her entrepreneurial journey. She reflected back on the One-Day Accelerator event: as a result of attending, she left the session with third and fourth quarter goals set in stone. This brought her clarity and sharpened her focus for what’s to come for her business. She shares that the community also provided valuable feedback and critique on grant applications. As a result, she was able to edit it and strengthen her approach and improve the quality of her submission.
The Resilience of Impact:
Through her dedication to building resilience and echo’s supportive community, Dr. Glenda transformed the lives of many across North Carolina. Her most fulfilling moments as an entrepreneur come when she is paid to facilitate training for health and human service professionals. This represents perfect alignment of purpose of impact, where she is sharing knowledge and practical tools and creating a space for meaningful dialogue that empowers her clients. Watching professionals leave the training session more confident, informed, and equipped affirmed Dr. Clare that her work is making a measurable difference.
Dr. Clare’s advice to entrepreneurs:
Stay connected with your “why”: Your passion and purpose will keep you grounded when challenges arise and help you make decisions that align with your vision.
Build strong networks and seek support: Surround yourself with mentors, peers, and ecosystems that can provide guidance, resources, and opportunities to grow.
Be willing to adapt and keep learning: Entrepreneurship requires flexibility, continuous learning, and the ability to pivot when needed to meet the changing needs of your market and community.
It’s YOUR turn to be resilient:
Dr. Glenda’s story demonstrates that with expertise, passion, and the right support system, entrepreneurs can build businesses that create systemic change while serving critical community needs. Her journey from behavioral health professional to social entrepreneur shows that knowledge combined with entrepreneurial support can transform entire systems of care, one professional and one family at a time.
